Minling Terchen's ''smon lam rdo rje'i rgya mdud'' is only the first page and a half of this text, therefore the author of the rest of the work is not clear. +
Candrakīrti's authorship of the source text is not generally accepted in modern scholarship. +
There are explanations of the works of several authors included in this text entry, the first is the ''rdo rje 'chang chen po'i lam gyi rim pa'i man ngag bdud rtsi gsang ba'' by Ekādaśanirghoṣa (sgra dbyangs bcu gcig pa). +
